Scoob and I have been nonstop laughing since we met in an AOL chatroom over twenty years ago. He is smart, witty as hell and way more stylish than I will ever be. I value our off-the-wall adventures, random Target aisle cruises, and of course weekly use of the laundry facilities. Steve has been there for every important moment of my adult life and I'm extremely thankful for that. Adding Brandon to the mix has made our times together all the better. I know this special day is going to be perfect and I am honored to be a part of it. Congratulations!

It’s a story as old as time… The year is 2008, the place is Fargo, North Dakota and two crazy kids meet while working at an Old Navy. One kid is still wearing a puka shell necklace, one kid is still really into punk rock music, but somehow the universe knew these kids were meant to be the real Will and Grace of world. Where does the story go from that now famous meet cute? It goes on to many more amazing stories and memories throughout the years. From living together to dancing in the aisles of Target while making videos (we were ahead of our time, we were Tiktok before Tiktok was a thing) to eating meatloaf and cinnamon rolls at midnight while watching Rom Coms. We’ve also taught each other how to play War and what the real lyrics to songs are (he probably has to Google song lyrics before his Instagram lip syncing posts now). Most importantly though we have stayed true to each other and weathered every season of life together. We are family.

Where do I begin?! Steven is truly my brother from another mother. Aside from my twin sister, I’ve known Steven since kindergarten and he’s the longest friend I’ve known. For those that know both of us, you’ll frequently hear us call each other “brother” or “sister”. After all, we pretty much grew up together! From elementary to high school and then on to College, where we lived in the same dorm every year, there are so many memories! It’s not uncommon for us to randomly recall high school and college memories when we get together. Blast from the past! One memory I’ll never forget is our freshman year in college up at NAU. We lived Cowden Hall, a a 24-hour quiet dormitory (what were we thinking?!). First year away from home and we did what every college kid does…party! After a night of drinking at some random house party, we came back to our dorm a little tipsy. We were walking to Steven’s room laughing entirely too loud at who knows what and we got the attention of Steven’s RA. Let’s just say that first year we learned 1) never live in a 24-hour quiet hall and 2) make friends with your RA so you can stay off the naughty list. So many fond memories we have together over the near 35 years we’ve known one another. I am elated I get to stand by this mans side as he marries his best friend!

Brandon is one of my best friends. It seems crazy to me that we have known each other for 15 years. He’s one of those friends that, even though we might not see each other for years at a time, our lives always eventually intersect again and it’s like no time has passed at all. We first met in college and quickly became friends because he was someone that I felt I could be myself with. Even though I was only there for that one semester, we got into a lot of shenanigans, he came home with me for holidays and became part of my family, and we even found a shared nickname for each other which we still use today (yamface ;) ). Over 15 years, our lives have intersected many times. In Minneapolis, we would go out wearing sneeds and have all the shenanigans. In Phoenix, we were roommates, and our nights were filled with gossip, martinis, and latino nights at the bar, where Brandon would order for us from the Charlie’s food truck after a night out and shush me when I asked him how to say funny things in Spanish. I’m so happy that Brandon has found his person and is happy. I look forward to many more memories and shenanigans in the future! Love you yamface <3

Steven and I met during the summer of 2002 through mutual friends. We quickly became thick as thieves and started hanging out every chance that we could with our other friends Ed and Dez. I became even more fond of Steve when I learned that he could make me a mean Cali Club when he worked at Einstein’s (his favorite thing to do). Over the early years of friendship, we had many different types of adventures together. These adventures ranged from going camping, traveling to San Diego, and eventually moving in together as roommates. If there is one piece of advice that I can give Brandon it would be to NEVER leave a dirty plate in the sink. I am so excited to be a part of Steve and Brandon’s special day. Congratulations and I love you both.

Hola!! I’m Gaby. I’ve known Brandon for 7 years. We met while working at the Heard Museum. Our friendship flourish while booking private rentals and taking coffee breaks and lunches in the courtyard. I’ve shared many wonderful memories with Brandon. I love all of our latino concert adventures from Shakira, Juanes, Paulina Rubio to counting the months until we see Rebelde reunite on stage in September 2023. Woohoo! Enjoying these live shows with him have always been a thrill. Another thing that I enjoy is our quest for tacos!! We’re always looking for new taco places to check out and we always split a quesadilla. Looking forward to celebrating Brandon and Steven’s special day with my tissue box in hand🥹.
