Our Wedding

Our love story started out as a friendship and it blossomed into a deep, unshakeable connection that neither of us could ignore. Over the years, our friendship grew stronger with each adventure, late-night conversation, and every quiet moment spent together.  We found that our love wasn’t just about the big, show-stopping moments—it was about the little things: the inside jokes, the way we supported each other through tough times, and the way we made each other laugh, no matter what. As time went on, we both knew we had found something rare, something worth cherishing for a lifetime. Our bond, built on trust, respect, and endless love, led us to the most important decision of our lives: to spend forever together.  Now, with the excitement of our wedding day ahead, we are thrilled to share this new chapter with our family and friends. It’s not just about the “I do’s” or the celebration—it’s about the promise to continue growing together, learning together, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you, the ones who have supported our journey so far, and we are so grateful to have you all by our side as we say “I do” and embark on this next chapter in our lives.

Ashley has been my rock and sounding board since the 6th grade. We have navigated the ups and downs of growing up together - whether it was celebrating victories, comforting each other during tough times, or just sharing those small moments that make our friendship truly special. As little girls we always talked about being sisters and after I say “I do” we can officially say we are. I was honored to stand by her side on her special day and now that it is mine, she will do the same. We have always been so excited to see where life takes us, but one thing will always be for sure - we will always be there for each other no matter what.

Ashley and I have always shared more than just a family connection - we’ve shared memories, laughter, and a bond that has only grown stronger over the years. As cousins, we spent our childhoods together, making memories at sleepovers, family gatherings, and summer vacations. Our relationship has always been built on a foundation of love, trust, and endless fun. We have become the best of friends who could rely on each other for anything. As I step into the role of a bride, Ashley will stand beside me as my bridesmaid, just as I had the honor of doing for her on her special day. As we enter this special day together, it’s the perfect reflection of the love and support we’ve always shared. A reminder that family, especially one like this, is everything.

Faith has been a part of my life for longer than I can remember. What began as a simple connection quickly grew into a deep, unbreakable friendship rooted in love, trust, and countless shared experiences. No matter how busy life gets, we’ve always found a way to be there for each other, offering unwavering support through laughter, tears, and everything in between. I am beyond blessed to have Faith by my side on my big day, just as I had the honor of standing by hers. Our friendship is a true gift, and I couldn’t imagine celebrating this moment without her.

From the moment Melissa and my brother became a couple, she has been an incredible part of our family. She welcomed me with open arms and a heart full of kindness, making me feel not just like a sister-in-law, but a true friend. Over time, our bond grew even stronger, and she has been a constant source of love, support, and laughter. I am so grateful to have stood by her side on her special day, and now, she will do the same for me. Her heart is as beautiful as her spirit, and I couldn’t imagine going through today without her by my side.

Madison and I have been friends for as long as I can remember, and through all the different seasons of life, our bond has remained strong. Even though she lives far away now, nothing ever really changes between us—when she comes home, it’s like no time has passed at all. We fall right back into our rhythm of laughter, memories, and easy conversation like we never missed a beat. I’m beyond grateful to have her standing beside me on one of the most important days of my life.

Allan has always been a constant source of support and strength in my life. He isn’t just my brother—he’s one of my best friends. His loyalty, sense of humor, and generosity have shaped me into who I am today. I’m incredibly grateful to have him by my side on this special day, just like we’ve always been there for each other through everything else in life.

My dad has always been a source of wisdom, strength, and unconditional love. Growing up, he taught me the importance of hard work, integrity, and putting family first. His guidance and support have played a huge role in shaping who I am today, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything he’s taught me. Having him by my side on this special day means more than words can express, and I’m so proud to call him my father. His love and presence are things I will always cherish.

Danny has been my best friend since high school and over the years, he has become more like a brother to me. His loyalty, humor, and ability to make any situation better have been constants in my life. I’m beyond grateful for the years of friendship and memories we’ve shared, and I’m honored to have him by my side on this special day.

Alex and I have been friends since high school. We’ve gigged many frogs together, gone on more hunts than I can count, and pretty much seen each other through every stage of life. From being dumb teenagers to navigating adult hood - we’ve always had each other’s backs. He’s like a brother to me and I am honored to have him stand by my side on one of the biggest days of my life.

Sutton, our beautiful 3-year-old niece, is truly the biggest bundle of joy. We are forever grateful to Faith and Danny for bringing this little ray of sunshine into our lives. Her curious spirit, endless giggles, and bright smile light up every room she enters. Watching her sprinkle petals down the aisle will be one of the sweetest moments of our day and a memory we’ll treasure forever.

Parking will be available at the venue, and there will be plenty of spaces for everyone. Just look for the signs directing you to the parking lot when you arrive!

Directions to venue:  From Columbia: Take 1-26 East to exit #177—at the end of the exit ramp--turn Right onto Hwy. 453 and proceed to the junction of Hwy. 178 in Harleyville. Turn Left onto Hwy 178 and travel 7 miles. Look for Limestone Baptist Church on your Right and turn Right onto Limestone Road just past the church next to the church parsonage (light grey home). Proceed on Limestone Road approx. 1 ¼ miles and Gatherings is on your Left.

From Charleston: Take 1-26 West to exit #187-at end of the exit ramp- tum Left.— proceed approx. 1 mile to the junction of Hwy. 78. Turn Right onto Hwy. 78 and travel approx. 3 ½ miles. Take the road to the Right (Hwy. 178). Turn into the first paved road to the Left (approx. ½ mile from fork) onto Limestone Road (next to light grey home) — proceed 1 ¾ miles and Gatherings is own your Left.

Find Hilton Garden Inn Summerville off I-26, within a mile of local dining and major retailers. Whirlin Waters Adventure Waterpark is 15 minutes away, and they’re 30 minutes from Charleston and Lake Moultrie. Relaxations easy with their resort-style pool and several walking trails nearby. Cooked-to-order breakfast awaits, and the two-story conference center has meetings covered. WiFis on them.

While you’re in town for the wedding, take some time to explore the charming Dorchester County area. From historical landmarks to outdoor adventures, there’s plenty to see and do: 1. Summerville Known as the “Flowertown in the Pines,” Summerville is a charming town just a short drive from the venue. Take a stroll through its quaint downtown area, filled with local shops, cafes, and art galleries. 2. Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site Explore the remains of an 18th-century colonial town at Colonial Dorchester State Historic Site. Wander through the historic grounds, learn about the region’s history, and take in the scenic views along the Ashley River. 3. The Middleton Place Gardens Although just outside Dorchester County, Middleton Place is a must-visit. It’s home to America’s oldest landscaped gardens. Enjoy a peaceful walk through the beautiful grounds, or take a tour of the plantation and its historic house. 4. Charleston Tea Garden Located a short drive away, the Charleston Tea Garden is the only tea plantation in North America. Take a guided tour to learn about the process of growing and harvesting tea, and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea at the end of your visit. 5. Cypress Gardens Located in nearby Moncks Corner, Cypress Gardens is a beautiful park known for its stunning swamp gardens and picturesque boat tours. Visitors can rent rowboats and glide through the serene waters lined with cypress trees and wildlife. 6. Lake Moultrie For those who enjoy outdoor activities, Lake Moultrie offers opportunities for fishing, boating, and hiking. Spend a relaxing afternoon enjoying nature, or rent a boat to explore the lake. 7. Dorchester County Farmers Market If you’re in town on a Saturday, check out the Dorchester County Farmers Market in Summerville. It’s the perfect spot to find fresh local produce, homemade goodies, and artisan crafts. 8. Historic Oakbrook Plantation Visit the historic Oakbrook Plantation to learn about its agricultural roots and the role it played in the region’s history. The beautifully preserved property offers a glimpse into Charleston’s plantation life. 9. Ashley River Plantation District Take a scenic drive along the Ashley River and visit several historic plantations, including Drayton Hall and Magnolia Plantation. These sites offer guided tours of the homes, gardens, and grounds, steeped in centuries of history. 10. Visit the Local Breweries For beer enthusiasts, Dorchester County has a growing craft beer scene. Enjoy a local brew at one of the area’s breweries, such as Oak Road Brewery in Summerville or the Low Tide Brewing in nearby Charleston.
