Monday March 8th, 2021 started off as any other. Kelsey got up at 5:15am for work, showered, got ready and went to work at Scenic Bluffs Dental in Prescott, Wisconsin. Little did she know it was going to be an unforgettable day.

At lunch, Kelsey told Megan, her co-worker, about how Brandon had strangely insisted on going to their hunting land that night after work for a photo. This meant they would be racing the sunlight to get there. Megan mentioned she thought Brandon was planning to propose since it was so random and uncharacteristic . Kelsey brushed it off.

At the end of Kelsey's work day, Brandon finally convinced her to cancel her chiropractor appointment. Kelsey changed her mind and decided to reschedule her appointment, but Brandon had already called the office and let them in on the secret he had in store for the evening. The chiropractor quickly told Kelsey the appointment had been filled for the evening and they will place her on a call list.

Meanwhile at work, Kelsey was finishing up with her last patient, running a few minutes behind closing time. Brandon called her phone right at closing time wondering if she was on her way home yet. He then proceeded to call Kelsey's boss, Dr. Jay, since she didn't answer to make sure Kelsey was leaving work. Since Kelsey was still at the office, Dr. Jay walked up to her and stated, "for circumstances unbeknownst to me, you need to change out of your scrubs and leave." Megan, who overheard, started jumping up and down for joy yelling "This is it! He's going to propose!" Kelsey hurried up, changed and left work calling Brandon on her way home. Brandon told her to hurry home, change into something nice, fix her hair and make up, then he will pick her up. Ten minutes after Kelsey got home Brandon, Darla, Joe and Buck picked her up with Joe's truck with the side by side. As we pulled into Plum City, Wisconsin onto the way to our land, our song "I Don't Dance" by Lee Brice played on the radio. Kelsey believes was God setting the stage for our special night.

Once at the land, Brandon and Joe were racing against the sunset to unload the side by side. We jumped on the side by side - Brandon driving, Joe riding shotgun and Darla, Buck and Kelsey in the back seat. As we flew through the field and down the steep trail with mud flying at us, Darla kept repeating "We're making memories!" As we reached the bottom of the hill, Joe stated that he had to go to the bathroom. Brandon stopped the side by side to let him out. Brandon noticed two water bottles sitting next to a tree and asked Kelsey to pick them up. Not understanding why she had to pick them up when Brandon was closer to the water bottles, Kelsey annoyingly walked up to the tree to pick them up. As soon as she picked up the bottles and turned around Kelsey saw Brandon down on his knee with a ring in his hand and a big smile on his face. Kelsey started giggling and could only manage to say "Are you kidding?!" She was stunned and so excited their special moment was finally happening. To further the surprise, Brandon pointed to the large tree they were standing next to showing her that he had carved their initials in the center of a heart.

This is just the start to the rest of their lives, annoying each other daily and spoiling their chocolate lab.
