Me and Brandon first met in 8th grade and we became friends! I always secretly thought he was so cute but never told him! We stayed friends but didn’t talk very much until our Junior Year! Brandon asked me to Junior Prom and I was so excited but so nervous since we hadn’t talked much! I was overthinking everything because I still thought he was so cute! We went to Prom and I developed a big crush on Brandon!! I loved how I could fully be myself with him. He made me laugh uncontrollably and was so kind to everyone. We became friends again after Prom but only talked off and on as friends! I kept my crush a secret from him. Our Senior Year came around, I was hanging out with my friend and since it was my last year of high school I decided to be brave and try to participate in school activities. One of the student traditions was True Bee it was one I had to be dragged too! ( True Bee is a initiation students made at Box Elder High School where you find someone to kiss on the 50 yard line after a football game ) My friend I was with at the time asked me who I would want to kiss if I HAD to choose ( because I refused to kiss anyone lol ) I told her the only person I’d be slightly interesting in kissing was Brandon Witt…But not to ever find him or tell anyone because I was terrified! I’m not even kidding it felt like 10 seconds my friend had already disappeared and in front of me was Brandon!! ( My friend went and found him! Shoutout to Jackie Tucker! ) I had no time to mentally prepare because it all happened so fast… I had to be ready to go! Everyone had formed a circle and pulled out their phones to record…🙈 After that, we started talking again and talked about how mortified we were because random people had a video of us kissing! And let’s just say it didn’t go so well! We kept talking and the more and more we talked I realized how perfect we were for each other! We finally moved past the bad kiss… 😅 He always makes me feel so comfortable and we can talk about anything! He is my best friend and always in my corner through the ups and downs. I’m grateful for him everyday! I used to think Box Elder’s True Bee initiation was stupid and that I’d NEVER do it…But I’m super grateful I did it!! It led me to my forever Husband! We are so excited to get married! It has never felt more right! I feel like I’ve known Brandon my whole life.
