Where is the wedding located?

Our wedding is going to be held at The Barn at Sanderlin Horse Farm in Appling, GA. Despite the name, there is no known relation between the owners of the venue and the bride.

When is the wedding?

The wedding will be May 27th, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. Brandy and David are eager to begin their life together and are excited to share their special day with those who are able to join them over this holiday weekend. Fun Fact: The day before the wedding is the birthday of Brandy's dad and aunt.

What is the venue like?

The Barn at Sanderlin Horse Farm is a working horse farm that also serves as a wedding venue. Guests enter a gate just beyond the front horse pasture and find the parking area to the right. Upon entering the Stable Barn, guests can head through the short corridor that opens up to the main venue--the Barn Chapel. The ceremony will be held in this open-air chapel with pew and chair seating. Following the ceremony, guests may mingle outside while the bridal party finishes wedding pictures. The meal will be served buffet style in the Stable Barn, and guests may enjoy their meal and the rest of the reception a few steps away in the open-air Pavilion Barn.

What can I expect at this wedding?

David and Brandy want their wedding to be a reflection of them and of their love. While they consider the occasion and the vows they will take seriously, they want their friends and family to be comfortable at and to enjoy their wedding and reception. On their wedding day, look for special nods to who they are and to what they love and value, from the ceremony and the music, to the decor and the food served.

What is the wedding dress code?

While there is no formal dress code and David and Brandy want their guests to be comfortable, they do ask that you dress appropriately for a wedding (no jeans, please!). If you'd like to coordinate with the wedding colors, shades of blue (think blue hydrangeas) with pops of red (as a nod to Memorial Day) will be incorporated in the decor.
