I met my stalker through my best friend. It might not have been love at first sight for David, but it was for me! We both were on a rebound, from his marriage and my high school boyfriend and the father of my child.

One of my favorite memories: We were on a date, and he stopped and bought me a rose, and we went down by the water and talked all night. That was the night I SAID "I love you" FIRST! (referencing The Cutting Edge lol) But I was young, made some mistakes, and we split up. I gave him a pen and he gave me his heart. My dad was so mad at me. He said I needed to go see him and apologize. I hate that my dad will not be here to see my wedding and walk me down the aisle. But I know he has my dads approval! He was the right guy, just not the right time years ago!

After a few ups and downs and years in between, we kept in contact, and then suddenly we blended a family. He has been the best stepfather (dark overlord) to our oldest. He stood up and stepped into the father role, and he didn't have to. He doesn't know how much Mae and I are grateful for him every day! Raising two girls was not easy, but we made it work, even with Marissa.

When you let it be, it will be. When I realized that all the pieces to the puzzle fell into place!

There was no grand proposal, lol. It's just lets get married. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!!!!!! He is my rock. It will be an adventure! ;)
