Q + A

This section is dedicated to answering frequently asked questions!

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel confident and beautiful! We don’t expect ball gowns or tuxedos… think semi-formal or garden party attire. There is no specific color code for guests, but keep in mind that the wedding party will be wearing green dresses and tan suits!

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

We are opting for an unplugged ceremony. We ask that guests refrain from taking videos or photos of any form during the ceremony. We are blessed to have talented photographers working the event.

Can I bring my children?

We don’t mind! However, there is a large pond and wooded areas on the venue property. For safety purposes, we ask that small children always be accompanied by a parent or trusted adult for the entirety of the event.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

To ensure that our guests have ample time to become acquainted with the venue and to get settled into their seats in the ceremony area, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony (scheduled for 4:30pm).

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Dinner and reception will be held indoors. All events will be held at the same venue.

What foods are available for dinner?

We will provide a charcuterie table for grazing and a variety of entrees and sides served buffet-style. Rest assured, you will not go hungry!

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar serving specialty “His and Hers” cocktails and mocktails.

When will the reception end? Is there an after-party?

The reception activities are expected to conclude by 8:00pm, but the dance floor and bar will remain open. Guests must leave the venue by 10:00pm.

When will dinner be served?

Cocktail hour will begin immediately following the ceremony, after which the wedding party will join the guests for dinner.
