Audrey has been on the Marshall Swim and Dive team with the bride for five years, and roommates for three! Audrey is thoughtful, dependable, and never fails to make you laugh. She’s always ready to have a good time on the dance floor (before 8:00 pm); be sure to request “the worm” from her—that’s her favorite!

Karsen and the groom have been friends for over 18 years. They met in the first grade and have been hanging out ever since. He and the groom went to the same college too! Karsen is a relaxing, friendly, and funny guy who kills anyone he meets with kindness. Give him 5 extra feet of space on the dance floor.

Klava and the bride have been on Marshall Swim & Dive together for four years and roomed in dorms for two. Their sweet friendship has grown over the years, and it’s been such a blessing to the bride. Klava is the most intentional person you’ll meet, and she can make anyone laugh. Just get her talking about food!

Corey and the groom hit it off while he was still in college. When it was time for Brayden to come to Huntington, living with Corey was a no-brainer. Two years living with each other was enough for them, but the fun memories made cannot be erased. He is funny, trustworthy, and horrible at golf. If his dancing is like his short game, stay far away.

Kate and the bride have been friends for 18 years!! They grew up swimming for the same club team. Many of the bride’s favorite memories with Kate are those of dressing up and having photo shoots in her backyard. Kate has always been quite the photographer and successful in anything she puts her mind to!

Kate Overbey

Drew and the groom are brothers by chance but friends by choice. He is always down for a motorcycle ride or an action-packed trip to Utah. Whether it's scuba diving in a quarry or shredding the slopes, this guy is always seeking his next adrenaline fix. Avoid his path on the dance floor once he gets into motion.

Olivia and the bride met through Audrey their freshman year. Olivia quickly invited her to a local church in Huntington, as well as the church’s campus ministry. She welcomed the bride with open arms and led her to a community she can confidently call family. Olivia is sweet and helpful in every way!

Payton and the groom have also been friends for over 18 years. Payton, along with Karsen and Brayden, is part of the original elementary school crew. Payton is a hard worker, a natural comedian, and lighting wizard. You can guarantee when Payton and Brayden are together shenanigans will ensue, especially on the dance floor.

Rachel is a wonderful mentor and friend to the bride. She’s helped Madeline grow in her faith and navigate big life decisions. She’s the most kind and welcoming individual you’ll meet! Rachel has made it her goal to keep the bride in Huntington forever, and it appears she is succeeding—at least for two more years!

Colton and the groom met in college while training to be resident assistants. Through shared humor and similar work ethic, they hit it off right away. You can find Colton working on cars, breaking things, or riding his motorcycle around town. The groom is interested to see Colton's line-dancing prowess--if it exists.

Hope is the sister of the groom, but her and the bride have become fast friends! She is the sweetest soul and has such a big heart for those in her life. Hope has gone above and beyond to make the bride feel like family, and Madeline CANNOT wait to have a sister!

Wyatt and the groom met in college, too! He was the first underclassman that Brayden met, and their love for golf made the friendship a done deal. Plenty of lost balls and sunburns later, you can still find Wyatt and Brayden in the woods at your local golf course. Wyatt is guaranteed to let loose on the dance floor, so have your phone ready.

Faith is a sweet friend the bride has grown to know over the last year. She’s a big coffee lover and talented in all things artistic; Faith even helped design the wedding invitations :) Pray for her, though, because she’s dating the bride’s brother!

Nathan is the brother of the bride, so when Brayden isn't around to get on her nerves, there's always someone who will. He and the groom share many similar interests, including a love for golf, snowboarding, and crushing protein-packed foods. The groom has high expectations for the dance moves Nathan's going to throw.

We’ve reserved 20 rooms at the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth, Ohio, for the Hart/Jett Wedding. The room options include five king-sized beds and fifteen double beds, all at a rate of $145 per night before tax. To book your stay, simply click the “Website” button below. Check-in is on September 5th, and check-out is on September 7th, but you’re welcome to select your preferred number of nights. When booking, please choose the “Group Rate” for the Hart/Jett Wedding (HJW) or mention the wedding when calling to secure your room. To ensure you receive the group rate, please make your reservation by August 7th. After this date, we can no longer guarantee availability at the Holiday Inn.
