Their story is the perfect example of “In God’s Timing” and “Slow and Steady Wins the Race.” They met in Pottery Class, Tyler with his Star Wars themed everything, and Breah overcomplicating all her projects. Other than conversing in class, and on occasion Tyler and his family coming into Cafe Rio where Breah worked as cashier, they never saw each other. A couple years later they had mutual friends get married and they were both in the wedding party, completely unaware of the other person.

In 2022, they met up again for a game night at their mutual friends’ house. For the next year the group of friends would meet up weekly to play games and D&D. It wasn’t until 2023 that Breah, encouraged by a whole salon, asked Tyler to go to the Ice Castles. Finally having some one-on-one time they instantly felt the ease in each other’s presence and how the conversation flowed. Taking their time, they went on occasional dates over the next year. It wasn’t until Valentine’s Day of 2024 they became exclusive, falling more in love with every visit as they navigated a 2 hour, long distance, relationship.

After a whole Summer of being able to see each other everyday, Tyler went back up to Logan for school, only to realize how much that sucked. It was then he knew he was ready to marry her. She, however, had already been waiting for him to figure it out. In November he asked her to marry him and, of course, she said yes. You wouldn’t be reading this if she hadn’t, after all.
