Everett and Breann met when Breann moved to Sault Sainte Marie and began a job at the Eastern Upper Peninsula ISD. Everett worked in technology and was Breann's go-to guy for tech needs. She had a crush on him from the start, but he was raising his two young daughters alone and had a lot going on.

Fast forward a couple of years. Everett ordered a cake from Breann's side business, Sprinkle, for one of his daughter's birthdays. It was at this point that Breann gained the courage to ask Everett out. If you know Breann at all, you probably know this was extremely out of her comfort zone. Her heart sank when he turned her down.

A few weeks after Everett turned Breann down, he reached back out to her and said he had changed his mind and was ready to take her up on her offer. She was over-the-moon excited and glad she took the risk.

On March 13, 2022 they made their relationship official. In October, 2022 Everett and the girls moved in with Breann. On December 23, 2023 Everett proposed and Breann said yes! On December 28, 2024 they will say "I do" and make their love story a permanent one.
