Our Wedding

I (Bre) remember it just like it was yesterday… Here’s my version of our story. It was the middle of the fall and, I had just moved into my first apartment on my own. I was a brand new paramedic, working way, way too many hours of overtime and just trying to figure out life. This fall however happened to be different, Covid had just peaked and well let’s just say, dating as a millennial is just hard these days. So I happened to find myself on one of those dating apps searching…just casually at first, ya know seeing what the ocean had to offer. Well after a couple of torturous events and bad dates I finally found the one person I was looking for… Jordan. I saw his cute face and kind eyes and I just had to meet this man. I saw in his profile that he was a firefighter and a Christian and he already basically had me at that point. So we texted back and forth, FaceTimed and talked for hours and finally agreed to go on a date. When I met him sadly enough I had actually lost all my confidence I figured this guy was going to be just like all the rest of the others but, boy was I wrong. The date went just like every other first date, awkward, but just different. Different but in a good way. He made sure to kiss me goodnight and the very next morning I woke up to a nice cheesy message saying how much he enjoyed meeting me and how much he liked me and well, my heart just melted. From that point on we hung out a couple of more times and I just new that this guy would become my husband someday. From then we spent every time we could together, he taught me how to fish, how to hunt, and how to live again. We jokingly talked about our futures of growing old together and, raising our kids to love Jesus and drinking coffee on my big front porch of the house that we built, with the sun rising on the other side. The roosters crowing in the back ground and the horses grazing about. Oh how I’ve dreamed of this, and now it’s becoming true. My dreams a reality. I love you so much Jordan, let’s get married
