Chapter 1: The Early Stages

Nicholas and I were set up by his best friend Griffin when we were planning a weekend trip to Cedar Point. We both went to the amusement park with an open mind, not knowing anything about each other prior. We ended up hitting it off and he asked me on our first "official" date for the following weekend. We started off as long-distant and both working full-time. Seeing each other on the weekends made the work weeks go by a lot quicker. We were long distance for about 5-6 months and within that short amount of time we both knew we were each others persons.

Chapter 2: Lets Leave Everything

This chapter of our love story gets really serious. We told both our families that I was quitting my job and taking a break from teaching to travel alongside Nick with his traveling job. We both lived out of 1 suitcase each and drove to Texas (where I totaled his Dodge Charger...lol oops). Living in Texas was shorter than expected which we both enjoyed as his job placed him on the east side of Michigan. From here, we found and bought our first apartment in Royal Oak! While in Royal Oak, we adopted our dog Jax from Detroit. He was such a sick, pathetic looking pitbull so we instantly fell in love with him of course!

Chapter 3: Living Together

This chapter involves a lot of moving... and we mean a lot.

The three of us lives in Royal Oak for about 7 months than we relocated to Holland and found a new apartment than a rental home for about 2 years. We loved living in Holland and made so many wonderful memories there. But we knew it would be best for us to leave knowing we wanted to start buying a house.

Chapter 4: The Current

This is our favorite chapter! We have both signed on our first house and are loving every minute of it. We are wedding planning and just enjoying being engaged together :)
