We first crossed paths in 2019 at a local BBQ restaurant. A friend was sent to find out Tanner’s name because Breanna thought she knew everyone in Florence—but that friend also came back with his number! There were no plans to reach out, but Tanner texted first, and the rest is history.

Our first official date was at Olive Garden, followed by a ‘random’ trip to Walmart for curl cream—though Tanner later admitted it was just an excuse to keep the date going. He still has that curl cream, and Breanna still borrows it when needed!

By February 2020, we’d been dating for about two months—just before the world hit pause. 2020 wasn’t the year for big adventures, but we were grateful to have each other through it all.

Our first concert together was COIN—our favorite band—and it definitely wasn’t the last! We’ve made some of our favorite memories singing along at their shows, even getting VIP a few times.

During our senior year, Tanner proudly stood by Breanna’s side as her homecoming court escort—a special moment that showed how much he’s always been there to cheer her on.

Our last BCM event before graduating was bittersweet. BCM was such a highlight of our college experience—filled with friendships, faith, and memories we’ll always carry with us.

We officially became FMU alumni together! Thanks to a little campus construction and some rearranged ceremonies, we got to graduate side by side—even with different majors.

After plenty of adventures close to home, we took our first trip out of the country together to celebrate our friend’s wedding

We kicked off 2025 by making vision boards—and funny enough, we both had “engagement” on them. Safe to say, those vision boards really did their job!

We got engaged and officially started the countdown to forever!
