I'm So Glad You Look Like Your Picture!

It all started January 9, 2019, when we matched on a dating app called Coffee Meets Bagel. As two old-fashioned individuals, we never imagined we would meet our future spouse this way, but God had other plans! Below were our first impressions of each other: our dating profiles.

Meeting for the first timeWe met for lunch on a Saturday, and had a great time chatting with each other. We both felt there was something special, and we'll never forget the first words out of Bree's mouth: "I'm so glad you look like your picture."From then on God continually grew us closer together and blessed our friendship.

Became boyfriend and girlfriendIt's official! After 4 months of dating, praying, laughing and learning, we felt God leading us to take the next step of pursuing marriage.

Got engagedThe biggest step in our journey so far and easily the most incredible. God has given us such a deep, Christ-like love for each other, and we long to glorify Him by faithfully choosing to love each other for the rest of our lives. With Jesus being our 1st love, we consider ourselves beyond blessed for the gift of marrying the 2nd love of our life.Mark 10:7-9 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together let not man separate."

UPDATE #3 - October 21, 2020:Request from Bride &amp; Groom:We love you all and cannot wait to see you in just a little over a week! We have one simple request... If you are sick or feel sick, or have been near anyone who is sick or has tested positive for COVID, we sincerely plead with you to excuse yourself from attending our wedding in person and join our livestream instead. We do not want to put anyone at risk on our special day.We personally have to get tested the day before our wedding (Oct. 29) for our honeymoon due to our international airline's stipulations and self-test 4 days after we have arrived at our honeymoon destination. In addition to protecting our guests, we do not want to risk getting ill for our honeymoon either, so please be considerate, and stay home if you are not feeling well. Don't worry, we will celebrate with you another time! :) Stay safe and healthy everyone. We cannot wait to see you all soon!UPDATE #2 - August 17, 2020:Livestream Update:Due to limited guest capacity, we are offering a livestream of our ceremony for those who are unable to attend in person. This option is available to everyone! The livestream will begin at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2020 with a photo montage and video questionnaire leading up to the start of the ceremony. Venue change: We had to change venues due to our other venue, Bard Mansion, not reopening due to the pandemic. Our new venue, Rancho Vista de Dios, will have the ceremony and reception completely outdoors.2. Parking details: Only 35 cars can be parked on site. Our biggest request is that you would please consider carpooling and/or taking an uber or lyft to the venue. The less cars parked in the street, the less attention we draw.3. Guest count: Regrettably, we were told we had to reduce our guest count significantly. We truly wish you all could be with us. We will have a live YouTube link available so you can enjoy our special day from the comfort of your homes. We appreciate your understanding during these difficult decisions we have had to make. Stay tuned for more details.4. Reception info:a. Food: During cocktail hour, please help yourself to delectable delights, while the Bride and Groom are whisked away for their wedding photos. We will be providing a buffet style dinner catered and served by StoneFire Grill. Delicious dessert to follow!b. Dancing: Music and a dance floor will be present. Do with those as you wish.COVID Info:1. Social distancing:a. We will provide different colored wristbands of your choice that will indicate your comfort level.- Red = Hi! I'm keeping my distance!- Yellow	= Ok with talking, but please no touching- Green	= What pandemic?** Regardless of what you choose, let us all be considerate of one another. The Bride and Groom will be wearing yellow, but they are allowed to touch each other...because you know... ;)b. We are working with our wedding coordinator to figure out the best way to setup the ceremony chairs and reception tables. More updates to come.2. Masks: We encourage you to bring masks if you'd feel more comfortable, but we will not be requiring or mandating the wearing of masks.
