2015 Freshman Year Fall Semester: Randolph-Macon Concert Choir performed at Duncan Memorial for a quaint morning service. Nothing fancy, just a small concert to show off what the choir had been working on so far. For whatever reason, Bree's parents couldn't make it, but her best friend Jordan's whole family did. Including Taylor, Jordan's older brother. After the concert, the McCall family invited Bree out to lunch with them. Little did she know that that day was the day she'd meet the love of her life.

Bree fell fast and hard, she knew somehow, someday she and Taylor would be together. Taylor... took some time. Though there was PALPABLE tension (ask their friends) and an obvious spark, it took five years for them to finally get together. Despite the understandable hesitation from his sister (who wouldn't be a little iffy about their best friend and brother dating?), despite the necessary "character development" (his words), and despite Bree's fear of ruining the sisterhood she'd made with Jordan versus losing her chance at love, fate made sure they'd find each other...it may have been 5 years after that concert but it happened, okay?

Fast forward to 12/03/2020:

Bree and Taylor went on a first date. He took her to get sushi and see Christmas lights. It was magical and perfect (even though Bree panicked about it for a week). During their dinner Taylor told Bree: "You are my end game." And maybe he knew Bree was a hopeless, rom-com loving, Disney princess happily-ever-after kind of girl, or maybe he didn't. Either way those words sealed the deal for them both. That night they decided to take the chance and dive into what would be the beginning of forever.

Fast forward *again* to 05/26/24:

Bree and Taylor are about a month away from celebrating their 3 1/2 year anniversary. They live together in their little apartment with their little dog, Evangeline, and they are incredibly happy. Life has thrown some curveballs their way but they know they have each other. Today is the day Taylor will ask Bree to marry him. He'd been planning for MONTHS to make sure everything would be perfect, and it was. After the five years of character development, and the three years of learning how to love each other, and the months of planning (and hearing Bree jokingly complain every time a friend posted about their engagement), they finally, FINALLY are so excited to set this thing in stone and make their love one for the history books.
