It all started when we both swiped right on Tinder. Bree was finishing her Senior year at UW Stout & Benno was living in LaCrosse working for Coca Cola. Thank goodness for Benno’s persistence because Bree SUCKED at responding. The couples first date was in Menomonie, WI and the rest is history.

After graduating in May 2016, Bree moved to the WI Dells to work for Kalahari. Benno was still living in LaCrosse but knew he wanted to be closer to Bree. He put in for a transfer with Coca Cola & asked Bree if he could crash at her place until he found a place of his own. 7 years later & he still hasn’t found that apartment.

One thing Benno & Bree share is their love for dogs. In July 2018 they welcomed Beckham into their home. The rule was he would be crate trained and wouldn’t be in our bed. Benno was out of town the weekend Beck came home. Beck did great the first two nights home in that crate. Until Benno got back from his trip…. I bet you can guess where Beckham has been sleeping ever since.

Benno always said “NO CATS BREE!” …. Lol. Bane joined the household in November 2019. Bree went home to visit family for the weekend and came back with Bane. Banes been an accepted member of the family since that day and has had Benno wrapped around his little paw ever since.

Benno & Bree always dreamed of moving south. In September 2020, they packed up their lives & the boys and began the long journey to TX.

Cause what was one more addition to the nuthouse … Rumor has it 3 years later & Brixlee still only likes Benno.

In in October 2021 during a trip to Jamaica Benno finally got down on one knee.

After many years together, our families finally got to meet during a week long trip to Florida. One of Benno & Bree’s favorite places.

While it’s been a long engagement, we cannot wait to celebrate with our closest friends & family.
