It was a Christmas miracle! With a little help from our friends, Nate and Bree met on Christmas evening (2020). They were set up by some close friends to meet blindly at a small Christmas party. Nate was smitten with her from the moment she burst through the door, one arm loaded with party games and the other toting a glass gallon jug of liquor-soaked gummy bears. Nate got her number and asked her out on a date for the following evening. She agreed, and they have been nearly inseparable ever since. Within a year, they purchased a house and moved in together. They live happily with their dog named ‘Duck’ and a cat named… Mr. Cat.
On November 26, 2023, Nate took Bree and some friends out crabbing on his work boat. While Bree was busy coiling some line, Nate took a knee and asked her to marry him. She exclaimed, ‘OH MY GOSH, Yes, Of Course!' They are both very excited to get married and to continue to love each other for as long as they both shall live.
