We're throwing a dance party to celebrate our wedding. Don't expect something traditional. There will be music and entertainment throughout. This party is open-invite to all members of the trans community, even if you weren't explicitly invited. The more people on the dance floor, the better.
Valerie and Bree met on a Tinder date at Carmelos. Bree was an hour late, but Valerie waited because she thought Bree was hot. Strike 1. Bree started talking about baseball at the bar. Strike 2. But as the night carried them on to Bodyhack at Nowadays, they learned that not only did they share just about every single interest (except Baseball), but they felt comfortable with each other in a way they had never felt before.
A month later, they broke up. Seriously, yeah - they broke up. But Bree was determined not to let the love of her life slip from her fingertips. Valerie had just exited a 10 yr relationship, and didn't know if she could ever love again. Bree persisted, and the veil lifted from Valerie's eyes. She realized she had just broken up with her soulmate. A month later they were u-hauling in together.
The rest is history. In March of 2025, fearing the government would change the laws, Valerie proposed, putting a ring on Bree's wonderful hand. Someone who was there that day is quoted as saying, "Oh my god, that's so crazy. Is this actually happening? This is actually nuts."
Please join us in celebrating their union :)
