Breena visits Italy for the first time! (B.D. (before Davide))

Davide visits his friend, Brian, in San Diego and they decide to go to the Mission Valley Beer Festival.

After a little over a month of texting and FaceTiming between Switzerland and California, Davide visits Breena in Santa Barbara for the first time. (A random stranger took this beautiful picture then asked if she could text it to them) This is the start of their long-distance relationship.

Davide takes a red eye flight from Switzerland to SB and lands an hour before the first wedding they attend together.

Covid separates Breena & Davide from seeing each other for 7 months. Davide joins the #covidcuts trend.

Breena is able to visit Davide in Switzerland for 3 months in 2020, despite the strict international travel restrictions. With "proof" (passport stamps and photos) of their relationship existing pre-pandemic, Breena was able to stay in Switzerland with Davide for 3 months, twice, during the pandemic.

It's a Christmas miracle! Davide's Visa request is approved and he immediately calls Breena over FaceTime to share the news! Now they just have to wait for the country to open up...

Davide moves to America!!!

Davide joins Breena in her 400 sqft Santa Barbara apartment. It was a tiny space and sometimes Davide took calls from the bathroom for privacy. (Peep our favorite visitor: Nero, the good-boy)

Davide & Breena waste no time searching for a bigger place to move into. They get approved for a house down the street that they still live in today!

Davide quickly finds his place in Santa Barbara and joins a local baseball team. Together, they enjoy volleyball, hiking, traveling, drinking in the Funk Zone, and hanging out with friends.

Davide proposes to Breena at Douglas Family Preserve in Santa Barbara which is the same park they had their first date when Davide visited Santa Barbara for the first time.
