Chance and Bree met in 2018 at Point Park University. Where Chance studied Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management and was a member of the Track & Field team and Bree studied Dance, Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management and Musical Theater. They went on their first date at the Milkshake Factory downtown Pittsburgh. Bree graduated in the Spring of 2019 and Chance followed in the Winter of 2020.
Shortly after graduation, Bree went on to dance for the Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2019-2020 season and Chance spent his 2019 summer in North Carolina as a door to door salesman. They had one more semester in the same place (PA) before the pandemic moved each of them home, Bree (PA) and Chance (VA).
After several part-time jobs and freelancing, Chance landed his first full-time position with the Washington Commanders as an Inside Sales Rep and Bree as a Special Events Coordinator at Walsh Jesuit High School while still dancing for the Cavs. At this time, long distance became prominent in our relationship with Chance in DC and Bree in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. They spent countless weekends visiting each other’s cities (Chance doing most of the traveling).
In the spring of 2023, Chance coordinated with Bree’s sister, Brenna, to set up Bree’s three season room with an engagement surprise. While Bree was dancing at a Cavs playoff game on April 23, Chance and Brenna, decorated the room with rose petals candle lit bags that spelled “Will you marry me?”, and phones set on record to capture the moment. Needless to say, Bree came home and said yes! That day, Bree’s parents made a surprise trip out to Ohio to celebrate over dinner. Then the long distance began again for another year.
In the spring of 2024, Bree moved to DC to be with Chance and take a new role in her career. They found their home in Alexandria with Bree’s dog Kya. As they continue to build their life in DC, Chance continues to excel in his most current role of Membership Service Representative for the Washington Commanders and Bree dabbled in corporate events and now has taken on the role of Assistant Director of CMN and Cause Marketing for Children’s National. Outside of work, they enjoy visiting wineries, watching TV shows, trying new restaurants, mini golf, and doing some touristy things.
We look forward to celebrating our relationship with all of you in Pennsylvania!
