David and Brenda’s love story began long before either of them realized it. They attended the same high school in Miami, Florida, but it wasn’t until years later—toward the end of 2020—that God brought their paths together.

From the moment they reconnected, something felt different. What started as catching up quickly turned into a deep and meaningful relationship. By February 2021, they took a leap of faith and began building a home together. It may have seemed fast to some, but they both knew in their hearts that this was the love they had been praying for.

As their relationship grew, so did the life they were building together. Aries, Brenda’s cat, was already part of the story from the beginning. While living in Miami, they adopted Harlow, their dog, and their little family continued to grow.

At the end of 2022, they moved to Bradenton, Florida, starting a new chapter. There, their home grew even fuller when they adopted Allie and Hailey. Starting a new season far from family and everything familiar; challenged them, shaped them, and helped them grow tremendously—both individually and as a couple in ways they never expected. It strengthened their bond, deepened their faith, and taught them how to truly lean on one another while keeping God at the center of their home and their relationship.

On September 4, 2025, David planned the most unforgettable surprise. On Brenda’s birthday, with her parents present just the way she had always dreamed, he got down on two knees (lol) and asked her to marry him. In a moment filled with love, joy, and gratitude, she said yes to forever.

They believe their story is a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is always perfect. Now, they cannot wait to begin this next chapter of their lives and celebrate the start of their forever surrounded by the people they love most.
