Chris and Brenda’s love story began years ago when they worked together at their first job at Abercrombie & Fitch. Though their time working together was short, Chris took a shot and asked for Brenda’s number before leaving for college in San Jose. They kept in touch through the years, exchanging messages here and there that had an underlying hope of something more... Something was keeping them connected despite the distance and the ongoing changes in their lives.

Then came the unexpected times of COVID, which led them both to reevaluate their paths. By fate, they found each other again—this time on the dating app Hinge. With curiosity and open hearts, they both “swiped right” and their beautiful journey together truly began.

Fast forward, Chris proposed to Brenda on the beautiful beaches of Malibu, making all of Brenda’s fairytale dreams come true. Brenda said yes, knowing that this was the moment they had both been waiting for, a culmination of all the years of fate and love that had led them here.

Now, they live together in Thousand Oaks, building a life together with undying love as the foundation. They cannot wait to get married and celebrate their love and commitment to each other surrounded by friends and family. They are so excited for the future, to continue learning and growing with each other, and one day, to start a family of their own.
