Our story all started with a simple friend request towards the end of 2019. I remember seeing a notification pop up on my phone one day, saw we had mutual friends so I accepted.
We were online friends but it wasnt until he posted a picture of a drink that had a jalapeño on it that got us talking. I guess you can say I made the first move by sliding into his DMs.
I didnt expect him to cary on the conversation after that but Im very thankful he did.
We continued talking, getting to know each other a bit until we finally decided to make plans to meet in person. The date set was March 7, 2020 and I remember we picked a middle point since he was from Livermore and I was from Hayward, not sure why we picked Concord but we chose Dave and Busters for our first date. I took my brother, Jazihel and Jocelyn and he brought Brian and JJ.
We are both very shy people so you can imagine how nervous we were. We played around in the arcade then sat down to eat while talking a bit more of what we liked and stuff. Later on we both said how we almost canceled on each other just because of how nervous we really were. We were both glad we decided to go along with our date.
Unfortunately, Pandemic was upon us and everything shut down. Our plans to hang out again were canceled, but that didnt stop us from seeing each other. He would come by my house after work to talk and hang out. We would stay outside for hours! We continued like that for the rest of 2020 until we started taking mini adventure trips with a couple of his friends that I have had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with them too.
We have had many great adventures throughout the years since then.
I Knew he had become my best friend and someone I would want to spend the rest of my life with and have even more adventures with.
So we decided to take the next step in our relationship and got engaged on March 4, 2023.
We are so excited for this new adventure in our life, Marriage. And we are so excited to be able to have friends and Family with us on that special day.
We cant wait to see you all!
Thank you,
Future Mr. & Mrs. Lozano
