We met the way most fairytale love stories begin — on an app. From our very first date, we connected instantly. It was one of those rare, electric nights filled with laughter, ease, and the undeniable sense that this was something special. Since then, we took off on an adventure — and so our quest began. We've journeyed far (Disney World, Puerto Rico, Key West… and Mordor, obviously), and while we always knew we had found something rare, we also knew one does not simply walk into marriage. We took our time. We chose to grow together, to really know each other, and to build a love that was healthy, honest, and true. Through grief, joy, late-night second dinners, career changes, and mini epics of our own, we became all the more precious to one another. It wasn’t rushed — it was forged, like the most powerful of rings. And through it all, we remained each other’s greatest adventure and truest companion. On September 19, 2024, Joshua proposed to Paola beneath the glowing lights of EPCOT’s iconic centerpiece — a shimmering globe representing the Earth, lit from below by colorful beams and surrounded by twinkling star-like lights in the ground. It was surreal, emotional, and perfectly us … especially when he presented the One Ring — the ring to rule him all. Now, we can’t wait to celebrate our next chapter surrounded by the people we love most. It’s the end of one adventure… and the beginning of the next.
