TRAVELING REQUIREMENTS

Passport expiration date should not have less than six months upon your arrival date to El Salvador. For instance, since the wedding is in April 2025, your passport expiration date should be later than October 2025. Tourists arriving from the United States of America are required to have a Tourist Card. You can purchase one at the immigration window after you deboard your plane. The Tourist Card costs USD $12.00 per person. Please make sure you have cash to pay for it in $20.00 bills or smaller.

Weather

Generally, the weather in El Salvador is tropical during most of the year. For April, we would describe it as the perfect weather for celebrations, with sunny days, clear skies, no rain, and temperatures are between 70°F - 85°F. 

Internet and phone services

Easy access to the Internet via Wi-Fi hotspots in business centers, hotels, cafes, restaurants, malls, and public areas. You can easily purchase a sim card that will allow you to have phone service and data as well.

Tipping

A 10% tip is added to your bill in almost all restaurants and bars for all waiter services.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation services are available at a cost to and from the airport. If you would like to coordinate a Car/SUV to and from the airport/hotel please contact us with your arrival/departure dates and times, flight numbers, number of persons in party, Car or SUV request and whether you will be staying at the Hyatt or Acantilados.

Transportation to and from the Welcome Party location will be provided at no charge for guests to and from the Hyatt and Acantilados. If you are staying at an AirBnB or other location, we can provide the address to either Uber to the Welcome Party location or to the Hyatt for pickup and drop-off.
