It all started with a swipe right on Bumble, and little did we know, that small gesture on Valentine’s Day 2021 would lead us on the most incredible journey of our lives. We both lived in Worcester, attending WPI and Worcester State during our final semester of college, but our paths had never crossed—until fate brought us together.

When we matched on Bumble, it was like discovering something we didn’t know we were looking for. We started talking daily and quickly realized we had a lot in common—our sense of humor, love for adventure, and the fact that we both had a passion for making the most of life. It didn’t take long before we were making plans to meet, and our first date felt like it was just the beginning of something special.

But just as we were beginning to fall for each other in the few weeks prior to graduation, life had a little twist in store: we faced the challenge of a long-distance relationship. Brendan moved back home to Minnesota and Erika moved back to Massachusetts then shortly moved to Maine to pursue her Master’s degree. Despite the miles between us (1,421 miles to be exact), our bond only grew stronger. Whether it was daily facetime calls or weekend trips to visit each other (thanks, Delta!), we made it work. Every distance-filled day only brought us closer, and before we knew it, we had built a relationship stronger than we could have ever imagined.

After navigating the ups and downs of long-distance love, we finally found ourselves moving to New Hampshire, as partners in life. Now we are joined by the two cutest little creatures we never knew we needed: our two cats, Clay & Cleo. They quickly became part of our story, filling our home with love, laughter, and just a little bit of chaos.

Now, here we are, living our dream with the ones we love most—each other and our two fur babies. From Bumble to long-distance our journey has been nothing short of magical. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with our closest friends and family, and we can’t wait to see where life takes us next—together.
