This story begins in August 2011 at Southern Nazarene University. Ashley was participating in NSI (New Student Institute) at SNU. Brendon was a student mentor for NSI. They met, for the first time, on a school bus. They were on their way to an event during NSI at SNU. Ashley got on the same bus Brendon was on and was trying to find a seat. Ashley was asking a girl sitting in front of Brendon if anyone was sitting next to her and he started mimicking her. Ashley thought Brendon was rude. Brendon thought Ashley was cute.

So the story continues...

Then "the future Weavers" began to have cereal dates (due to Sarah Townley's invite).

Still continuing...

Soon after Ashley and Brendon began to have dinner once a week together (on Thursdays).

Continuing...

Then came the first kiss... October 2014... while watching Walt Disney's "Holes".

Yep... you know...

Then they began dating... May 2015... it was a journey for sure.

And... yep... you "guest" it... (Get it? Cuz you're our guest reading this? lol.)

On Christmas Day 2016 Brendon asked Ashley to be his wife... You'll have to get that story in person. (Or on the video you'll see on the wedding day.)

Then comes the Wedding Day (April 8, 2017).

Thank you to all of you who have been praying for us and supporting us through this amazing, dreadful, stressful, joyful, sacred relationship... connection. We, also, would like to say thank you to the Lord, Our Lord Jesus Christ. (Without Him we wouldn't have made it... for sure.) Thank you, God.
