Shuttle Transportation

We’ve arranged shuttle service throughout the weekend to make getting to and from events as easy as possible. Please review the schedule below and plan accordingly.

Welcome Party – Saffe Santa Zita

There will be no shuttle service provided for the welcome party, as the venue is within walking distance of most accommodations in Lucca.

If you prefer not to walk, taxis are readily available. You can use the Tax.it app to book a taxi, or simply ask your hotel front desk to arrange one for you.

Wedding Day – Shuttle Schedule

To the Venue

A shuttle will depart promptly at 3:45 PM from in front of the Grand Universe Lucca (Piazza Del Giglio, P.za Napoleone, 1, 55100 Lucca LU, Italy) to bring guests to the wedding venue. Please arrive a few minutes early, as the shuttle will leave on time.

Return Shuttles

Return shuttles will run from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM, allowing guests to depart at their convenience. All return shuttles will drop off at the Grand Universe Lucca.

Pool Party – Shuttle Schedule

To the Pool Party

A shuttle will depart at 11:45 AM from in front of the Grand Universe Lucca to bring guests to the pool party.

Return Shuttle

A return shuttle will depart at 3:00 PM, bringing guests back to the Grand Universe Lucca.

The Grand Universe Lucca is centrally located and within walking distance of most nearby accommodations, making it a convenient hub for all transportation.

The nearest airports to our wedding venue are:

Florence Airport (FLR) – About 1 hour from Lucca.

Pisa International Airport (PSA) – About 30 minutes from Lucca.

We recommend flying into one of these airports for the most convenient travel to the venue.

From Florence Airport (FLR)

Take the T2 tram into the city center—approximately 20 minutes and €1.70 per ticket.

Arrive at Firenze SMN train station, then hop on an hourly direct regional train to Lucca—approximately 1 hour and €8.90 per ticket. More info HERE

From Pisa Airport (PSA)

Take the PisaMover shuttle (runs every 5–8 min, 6 AM–midnight) from the airport terminal to Pisa Centrale, a quick ride of about 5 minutes. Tickets are ~€6.50 each way. No advance reservation is needed. You can buy tickets at the airport kiosk or online via the official PisaMover website. More info HERE

From Pisa Centrale, board a direct Trenitalia regional train to Lucca—no train changes required in May. Trains depart hourly, ride time is around 25–30 minutes, and fares are approximately €3.70–€5. More info HERE
