A lot of people ask how the couple has met. Nathan and Brenna first started talking on the day of Brenna's high school graduation. Brenna went to Avon to get ice cream with some friends. Afterward, they were driving around and came upon some guys playing basketball. Brenna and her friends left their Snapchats on the top of their car. Later that night, Nathan snapchatted Brenna and the rest is history!

Nathan asked Brenna to be his girlfriend. Brenna and Nathan dated long-distance, while Brenna was in college at SIUE. Nathan and Brenna would drive back and forth on weekends to spend time with each other for 4 years while Brenna attended college. After graduating college in May of 2024, Brenna moved in with Nathan.

On this day, Nathan had told Brenna that they had dinner reservations. While Brenna had been at work she had noticed on Life 360 that Nathan had finished a drive, but it wasn't to the house. After seeing his location, Brenna texted him and asked where he was and why. Nathan replied that he had planned surprise photos (because Brenna had been wanting professional photos taken). Brenna was very stressed out because she had not planned for photos. Later to Brenna's surprise, Nathan proposed!
