Fall 2016, Caleb and Brenna met in Health and Fitness Class. Caleb of course was the quiet, timid, and shy one who actually participated in class. Then there's Brenna, who was her typical self, and used this time as a social hour to talk and due little working out. The two talked here and there in class but not much until Homecoming night that year. Brenna and her friend were driving around after the dance and decided to stop by Caleb's house and pick him up. They drove around for a little while and dropped Caleb back off at his house not long after. Brenna had a softball tournament the next day, but they stayed up and talked most of the night. Caleb finally stepped up to the plate weeks later and asked Brenna to hangout. This was the first of many weekends spent together throughout Brenna's final year of High School and Caleb's Junior year.

Brenna ultimately decided to stay close to home and attended college while Caleb finished his final year of High School. Caleb decided to attended St. Ambrose University in 2018 to further his education while Brenna remained close to home. Eventually the two realized they were truly meant to be together and Brenna ultimately decided to join Caleb in the fall of 2019, to complete her nursing degree. The two grew closer than ever throughout their time at St. Ambrose.

Upon graduation they both decided their love for each other was something they both wanted to last forever. They moved into their first apartment together in January of 2021, started their careers, and made their zoo bigger. As their love continued to grow the thoughts of marriage begin to as well. Brenna of course, started talking to Caleb about engagement rings and sending pictures to him any chance she could to give him hints. December 2022 finally came around when a trip to Disney was planned with some of Brenna's family. Caleb, being the shy guy he is of course, was not sure about proposing in the most Magical Place on Earth. Ultimately Caleb decided that this was the perfect place and most magical place to ask Brenna to marry him.
