Corey and Brenna first met on the dating app, Tinder. After the small talk and get to know you texting, Corey had mentioned that he was working all morning moving in his little sister into her new apartment. Later, come to find out, he was laying on the floor most of the time texting Brenna.

The first date was one for the books. We went to Ra Sushi and Blue Martini at the Shops of Legacy. It was filled with laughter and the foundation of many inside jokes to come. It was a night that we cherish and we still refer to today.

Following the first date, Brenna and Corey saw each other everyday. Corey fell in love with Brenna's cooking and her dog, Mollie. Brenna fell in love with Corey's personality and Xbox skills.

The weekend of March 18th was the cherry blossom exhibit at the Dallas Arboretum. Corey had mentioned to Brenna the previous weekend that they should go, and Brenna got very excited and loved the idea.

March 19, 2016: Brenna had woken up looking forward to the trip to the Arboretum and when she mentioned it to Corey his response was noncommittal. She would soon determine why.

Brenna: "Are we going to the arboretum today?"

Corey: "Well... do you really want to go?"

Brenna: "Not if you don't want to."

Brenna was disappointed in the change of plans, but tried to move past it. Later that day;

Brenna was so excited for the plans to be rescheduled that she did not think anything of Corey's strange "change in plans". He was thankful for that!

They walked through the beautiful Arboretum, for about an hour. Corey took Brenna into an area at the Arboretum called, The Secret Garden. It was then that he guided her in front of an archway and asked;

"Will you marry me?"

Brenna's response was, "Of course!"

Not only did he propose in the most beautiful area, but he invited all of their friends and family to come and be apart of this amazing time.
