Our story starts in January 2022, when we matched on a dating app. We made plans for our first date but because I hit two deer with my car in one day, we had to cancel it. We almost didn’t reschedule, but luckily we did! Our first date was a snowy walk through Rib Mountain. We decided to take the longer route on our hike because we were both having a great time. Our night ended with pizza at Van Acre. After a few more dates we knew we had something special.

Fritz loved all of my pets right away. About one year later we rescued KitKat from the Nillissen family farm. Fast forward two months later KitKat surprised us with 5 kittens. That definitely kept us busy and entertained!

In the past three years our time together has been full of laughter and love. We love to go fishing and camping. Even Ellie (our dog) loves the boat! We also have spent a lot of time gardening, lots of veggies and cut flowers!

In May 2024, we went camping up north near Marengo. When we got to our campsite Friday night, it was dark, 39 degrees and windy. Definitely, not ideal for camping in a tent. The next morning after breakfast, we went to Morgan Falls and St. Peter’s Dome. After hiking to the waterfall, Fritz made me climb up 15 feet on the rocky edge of the waterfall. It was a beautiful spot. Fritz popped the question and of course I said yes!

We are so excited to spend our special day surrounded by family and friends!
