Brennan and Kaitlin's story began while they were playing baseball and softball in the Florida Golf Coast League in Sarasota, Florida. One of Kaitlin's friends and teammate, Ashlyn Prewitt, introduced them and the rest was history! They spent the next few weeks in the summer league hanging out almost every night.

Sharing their love for the Chicago Cubs, Brennan took Kaitlin to a game at Wrigley Field while Kaitlin was visiting family in Chicago just a few days after leaving the summer league. While Brennan lived in Kentucky and Kaitlin lived in Florida at the time, they knew having a long distance relationship while both playing college athletics would be a challenge, but they decided to take a leap and give it a try! Brennan then officially asked Kaitlin to be his girlfriend.

While Kaitlin and Brennan were not able to see each other much during season, they made the most of their time and pushed through long distance!

After almost three years together, Brennan and Kaitlin signed the lease on their first apartment together in their new home in Mebane, North Carolina!

The day that Brennan asked Kaitlin to marry him! The entire King family was in town for the annual King family reunion in Georgia. Karen sent Brennan and Kaitlin to pick up cupcakes from a bakery in Trilith, but when they arrived Brennan led Kaitlin down to the most beautiful spot on the lake and popped the question! Such a beautiful moment and such a SURPRISE!

After returning home to Kaitlin's parents house in Georgia, Brennan and Kaitlin were surprised with the engagement party of their dreams with both families there! Special shoutout to everyone who made this day possible :) Brennan and Kaitlin cannot WAIT to celebrate their marriage with you all!
