When will the ceremony begin?
Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm, please arrive at 4:00 to get a seat and anything to drink!
What do I wear to the wedding?
We are asking guests to wear semi-formal attire. This can mean that men could wear nice slacks and a button-down shirt, and women could wear summer dresses. You do NOT have to wear a tux or a ball gown! We want you to be comfy and cute enough to dance the night away! But please NO jeans!
Are children invited to the wedding?
As much as we'd love to invite all of the children, we can only accommodate a few close family children out of state. If you don't know if you are one of those families, it will state on the invite. We are asking that guests refrain from bringing children, however, not everyone can leave their children behind. We hope that you understand our decision, and are still able to join us on our special day!
Can I bring a plus one?
Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!!
Bar information!
Our bar is an open bar! It will close sharply at 9:15 pm, with no last call announcement. You are allowed 2 drinks per person, however at 8:45 it will go down to 1 drink per person.
What are the temperatures like in Oak Glen?
The HomeStead is an outdoor venue so you'll be celebrating under the stars. At 4734' elevation, Oak Glen will generally be 10 or so degrees cooler than most inland cities. A light sweater for a June evening reception is always a good idea!
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Yes! There is a ton of parking at our venue right in front, however we recommend carpooling. We will not be supplying a shuttle. Please do not drink and drive!!
Are we allowed to smoke at the facility?
The Homestead has a designated smoking area to the left of the ceremony. There is no cannabis allowed on the property!! Don't shut our party down!
How do I get to the venue?
Sometimes the GPS doesn't work in the Oak Glen area!
Heading West on I10:
Take exit 90 - Cherry Valley
Turn LEFT, going over the interstate for approx 3 miles to the STOP LIGHT - Beaumont Ave. Turn LEFT onto Beaumont Ave heading up the hill for about 5.9 miles. (Beaumont Ave turns into Oak Glen Road) Turn RIGHT into the HomeStead Driveway.
Heading East on I10:
Take Exit 94 - Beaumont Ave
Turn RIGHT onto Beaumont Ave (heading north) for approximately 8.8 miles. (Beaumont Ave. turns into Oak Glen Road) Turn RIGHT into The HomeStead driveway.
Heading East on the 60 FWY:
Take Exit 94 - Beaumont Ave
Turn LEFT going over the interstate. Heading North for approximately 8.8 miles. (Beaumont Ave. turns into Oak Glen Road) Turn RIGHT into The HomeStead driveway.
