Our Wedding

In October of 2020 the world was on pause. This was until Brent and McKenna matched on a dating website. On that day, their story started. With most places still under strict occupancy guidelines, their "first" date was at Brents house. As places started to open, they decided to go on their first actual date at Anitas Mexican restaurant over margaritas and chips and salsa. Soon after that, Brent had told McKenna that he was leaving for over two months for the holidays and he wanted her to wait for him to come back. After a long two months of barely knowing each other, they decided to drive 7 hours to the Grand Canyon to spend their first New Years together. Only 3 months later they decided to go to spring training in Arizona. In March of 2021 was the moment they shared that they loved each other. Which of course happened over margaritas and chips and salsa! After that they started to go through many life milestones. Each of us went through job changes, new apartments, and multiple life events. With each change they became closer and closer. Soon McKenna and Brent decided to get a dog. After compromising on the type of breed, we decided to drive 8 hours and pick up our new fur baby. We both realized after training a puppy for a year we needed a break! After convincing Brent to take time off and to travel he finally agreed to travel outside of the country. One week before leaving for their trip they found out they were going to become an Aunt and Uncle! As we were going to celebrate Brent had another idea. While planning to walk to brunch, Brent decided to take the long way while walking along the beach. As McKenna was questioning the long walk he ended up pulling McKenna aside and proposing. Surprising her with proposing he also had our family and friends there to celebrate. Which quickly became the best day ever! One week later they flew out to Amsterdam, Prague, and Portugal to celebrate their engagement and had the most amazing time. Not soon after they got back they were ready to start planning more trips in their future. Since the beginning, it has been five years of coffee dates, sports games, traveling, game nights, and raising a crazy dog named Nala. We are so excited for our future and what yet is to come as our lives combine on our wedding day!

Growing up with my older sister Anjelica, I learned so much from her. She means the world to me and I could never count on anyone else in my life. We've shared countless laughs, heartfelt conversations, and tearful moments together. Through every life stage, she's been my constant support. From having a snapchat streak lasting almost 4 years long to showing up randomly to each others houses and it always ending up to be a fun time. Our bond is truly special, and I'm incredibly grateful to have her by my side. 

Anjelica Bigler

Seth's official title pre-wedding may be "Brother" but it has always been 'best friend' to me.  From always wearing the brute end of the stick, such as forced to play street hockey goalie or trying to keep up with the neighborhood wiffle tournaments.  Seth and I really connected through the normal commute to high school; this relationship has truly flourished as life has progressed.  Seth is the first person I will call for anything from life advice discussions, to who will cover a spread.  Whether he knows it or not as a little brother, I wouldn't be the man I am today without him.

Although Avery is my little sister by 12 years, I feel we are the same age, and have been sharing a bond since the beginning. From singing Disney songs in the car, to talking about boys; she has always been by my side, and continues to be. She has a big heart and always understands me. Watching her grow up has made me so happy and proud to have a sister like her.
She by far is the most protective of me, and I wouldn't be who I am today without her!

Avery Kaylor 

Meeting Nick back in high school through friends of friends, never would I have thought that someday we would be living together through a common friend, 3,000+ miles away from Massachusetts.  Since moving in, and moving out, our friendship has grown and remains very close knit.  Whether its having a few beers at a happy hour, golfing, or watching sports, I can always count on Nick to be up for something fun and always a good time.

Katie and I met over Facebook marketplace. As I reached out to be her roommate, we were soon living together. Who knew that one day she would be standing by my side. I couldn't have asked for the most perfect friend at this time in my life. Our lifestyle matches and I can always count on her to have a fun and relaxing time. From line dancing to watching Shrek and eating Cali burritos at 12AM.  I can always can count on her through the ups and the downs and I am grateful!

Katie Croy 

Mike has been my longest maintained friendship dating back to tee ball, just before moving into his school district.  From a young age, Mike and I have competed against and with each other in hockey and baseball.   From trips to Florida with each others family growing up, to living together in California for multiple years; Mike continues to be one of my most trusted friends and can always be counted on.

Caroline is someone who is more than a sister in law to me. As she came to visit Brent and I, I realized that we are almost the same person.  Those weekends turned into our weekends and Brent had to follow along. She has always been by my side, even when Brent walks 5 feet in front of me. She has such a light in her and brings so much fun energy into my life. I consider myself lucky to gain a new sister in law and a new best friend!

Caroline Murray 

I met Cam my freshman year of high school and proceeded to be his teammate on the ice for another 4 years.  There is something to be said about sports teammates; as no matter the time that has passed, we would always pick up from center ice so to speak.  Cam luckily moved to San Diego after I had already lived there, and the friendship has never changed.  I can always look to Cam to cover for me for whatever need may cross my mind, and I know I can always make time for him.

Kaylee and I met in middle school. As we got to know each other, I realized that she is someone who loves to live life and enjoy all the small things that make her happy in life. I realized that I wanted to be her friend forever. After 17 years of friendship she still continues to show me what life is all about. living in the small moments and I could not thank her enough. You can find us running on the beach eating in and out while listening to AKON and drinking 5 different drinks at the same time.

Kaylee Crandell 

Though I met Evan late in high school, I really never understood how important he would be in my life.  Evan has gone from the guy who showed up to my house shirtless, to still shirtless when I would visit in college, to still shirtless at most bars that will allow it in San Diego; who would have thought?

Evan will always be someone I can call to discuss life and the very intricacies that come with it; though both of us barely can understand the surface of the situation.  Evan continues to be one of the first people I call in a predicament, and luckily just a few towns away.

Madi and I met in elementary school and it didnt take long for us to become best-friends. No matter what was going on in our life, every time we looked at each other we would laugh so hard we would cry. We have made the best memories that we continue to re-live when we are together. Madi and I have a ritual to explore our hometown, eat numbing flowers, go to Rockies games and of course watching videos of dogs all night long. I wouldn't have it any other way! I am so grateful to have someone who always can make me  smile in life.

I met Pat in College, but never realized what the friendship would blossom into roughly until Junior Year.  Despite never actually living with each other until Senior Year, Pat quickly grew into one of the guys I confided in.  Pat remained one of my best friends throughout college, experiencing all; both good and bad.  Yet despite 3,000 miles plus away, Pat remains one of the first people to call and check in to see how things are.  The favor is returned, and maybe at times taken advantage of, by sleeping at his place whenever I am back in Boston.

As Kaylor will be one year old on our wedding day, I couldn't be happier to have a Niece. She is the best thing in this world! Along with one of my other favorite people, my Aunt Connie. I am the luckiest girl to have such a strong bond with these two. Even though Kaylor is so young I wanted her to be apart of this special day. They both mean so much to me and I could not think of anyone better to walk down the aisle before me.

I have had the pleasure of watching Braden grow into a fine young man since I have met Mckenna.  Over the past few years of knowing the Kaylor's, I have always made a point to be in the know with Braden;  anything from sports to life.
It is only fitting for Braden to be apart of my groomsmen as I have seen him mature into the fine young man he has become over the years and ultimately a great friend.

As we were thinking about who would be our officiant;  Trent came to mind as he has known us from the beginning of our relationship and been there through many of our life changes. 
Trent is someone who will always show up for us, even when it may be 2 AM at our door asking for a place to stay. Trent is always there for McKenna and has shared so many memories together. 
Although he is McKenna's brother, he has hit it off with Brent sharing the same passion as Brent's experiences in the Real Estate Development world.

Please sit back and enjoy the ride to and from the venue by taking advantage of the provided transportation! Busses will leave the Mission Pacific Hotel at 2:15 PM and upon reception ending. Should you want to enjoy some libations pre event, feel free to bring drinks and snacks with you! If you plan to drive and decide to have a fun night, feel free to leave your car at the venue. Please note your car must be picked up by 11:30 AM the following day, and keys must be obtained from valet before leaving the venue the night of the ceremony.
