Hello and welcome to our love story! Our journey began in the halls of Northridge High School, where Rachael and Brentons paths first crossed. Fate had a plan, weaving a tale of friendship, loyalty, and love that has spanned over 8 incredible years.


In those early days, Rachael and Brenton were introduced through a mutual friend. Little did they know that their lives were about to take an unexpected turn. At the age of 17, Brenton lmustered the courage to ask 16-year-old Rachael to be his girlfriend on October 3rd, 2015. Thus, their story as a couple unfolded.


As Brenton embarked on his college adventure at the University of Cincinnati, Rachael finished her senior year of high school in Johnstown, and so began the test of a long-distance relationship. The miles between them couldnt diminish the bond they shared. Through late-night calls, handwritten letters, and visits whenever possible, their love not only survived but thrived.


Their educational and professional journeys were marked by unwavering support for each others dreams. Brenton, driven by a passion to serve, joined the Columbus Fire Department in 2018, a journey culminating in his graduation in the fall of 2019. Since then, he has fearlessly served the community as a firefighter, showcasing his dedication and bravery. Meanwhile, Rachael pursued her dreams at the University of Dayton, earning her masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She now works as a registered dietitian in Columbus and is loving every minute of it. The celebration of each others accomplishments would not have been possible without the immense support each partner showed one another.


In November 2022, Brenton took a monumental step, purchasing a home in Westerville that would become the anchor for their shared dreams and future adventures. Their home, filled with love, laughter, and what Brenton considers to be “too many plants,” stands as a testament to the life theyve built together. Even though physical distance lingers due to Brentons demanding 24-hour shifts as a firefighter, their love remains unwavering. The days Rachael doesnt see him are met with anticipation for the moments theyll share when they are together.


In July 2023, our story reached a new chapter when Brenton popped the question. The proposal came as quite a surprise to Rachael, as she was not expecting it. Brenton, with a heart full of love and a touch of romantic flair, transformed their backyard into a magical setting. He lined the walkway with delicate rose petals, set up a tent adorned with twinkling string lights, and orchestrated every detail with meticulous care. To capture this momentous occasion, Brenton enlisted the help of his good friend, who skillfully photographed the unfolding magic. Overwhelmed with emotion and tears of joy, Rachael, without hesitation, said the most important Yes of her life, marking the beginning of the next beautiful chapter in their love story.
