The ceremony takes place in a beautiful wooded area on the outskirts of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. From the parking lot, you walk through the gardens and over a bridge to reach our ceremony site. Surrounded by white pine trees, we will say our vows in front of a beautiful wood landing that overlooks turtle pond and there is stone amphitheater seating for guests to sit on.

The reception will take place at a brand new event center right in the heart of Granite City. After arriving, guests can socialize and enjoy the “coffee hour”. When the newlyweds arrive, dinner (breakfast) will be served. Shortly following the meal there will be speeches, special dances, and the cake cutting. The couple will also have a special time to get a photo with every guest.
