We met in a very unique way to say the least! We met in May 2022 after Shay's older sister, Sierra, made a Tik Tok of Shay that went viral! In the Tik Tok, she says she is accepting for "sister-in-law" applications

I originally saw the Tik Tok but didn't think much of it. Taylor, my sister-in-law, saw the Tik Tok and took it upon herself to send Shay an Instagram message with my information. We started following one another on social media and started messaging. We spent the next month getting to know each other and talking on the phone frequently. We then decided to try to meet in person. Shay shared about his yearly Game Warden Association Banquet that was coming up the first week of June. He said it was a weekend thing and invited me along. It was nerve racking for us both but we ended up having a blast that weekend! (I now have attended 3 banquets with him in the time we've been together). A month later, Shay traveled up to Kansas to meet the Belvills for 4th of July and I traveled back to Oklahoma a couple months after that and met the Loudermilks. We've been doing long distance the last two and half years. It's been difficult but we've always said worth it. We are looking forward to closing the gap and getting to spend forever together! I guess you could say we have Tik Tok and our meddling sisters to thank for bringing us together!! :)
