Are kids welcome?

As much as we cherish your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our ceremony and reception an adults-only affair. We hope this allows everyone to kick back, unwind, and truly enjoy themselves!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

We're going with black tie optional—think elegant and festive! A tux or formal suit is great, but not required. Long dresses, cocktail dresses, or anything that feels a little fancy and celebration-ready is perfect. We just want everyone to feel great and ready to party!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes, we recommend staying at The Hilton Garden Inn, The Knickerbocker on The Lake, or The County Clare Irish Inn & Pub. Check out our Travel page for more information and links.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony begins at 4:30 PM sharp! We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and settling in before the festivities begin. You won’t want to miss a moment!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by October 7th! It helps us wrap up all the fun details and make sure everything is just right. You can RSVP right here on our wedding website—it only takes a minute!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

There’s no on-site parking at the venue, but don’t worry! If you’re staying at one of our recommended hotels, you’ll be just a short walk or Hopp ride away. If you’re driving in, there’s street parking available nearby. Just be sure to allow extra time to find a spot before the ceremony starts.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

If you have any dietary restrictions or special requests, just let us know when you RSVP. We want everyone to enjoy the meal, and we’ll make sure you’re well taken care of.

Can I bring a plus one?

As much as we’d love to celebrate with everyone, we’re keeping things intimate and are only able to accommodate the guests specified on your RSVP page. We’re so excited to share this special day with our nearest and dearest—thank you for understanding!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Milwaukee in November likes to keep us on our toes—it could be a sunny 60° or a brisk 30° with rain or flurries. In true Wisconsin fashion, you might even get all four seasons in one day! We plan to hold our ceremony outside in the venue’s beautiful courtyard, so be sure to dress comfortably and weather-appropriate, there will be a coat check inside. Layers are your friend!

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment. Don’t worry, though—our amazing photographer will be capturing it all and we’ll be sure to share the photos with you afterward!
