The story of our love is tragically millennial. Brett found Kate via instagram and like any good love story beginning; it all started with an instagram DM.

Upon scrolling back into her direct messages, the first dm was from October of 2019 with Brett reacting to her story with the 100' emoji, then on December 30th of 2020 he said "Hey, how was your Christmas? Are you living in Richmond currently? I had a random idea and wondering if you had an interest in meeting up for a drink". They in fact did not meet up for a drink, in fact Brett would have to ask Kate out at least four or five more times over the course of the next several months before she finally agreed to meet him for drinks at Hardywood. The day of the date she actually considered not going last minute, but once they sat down together they haven't been apart for longer than three days since.
