Brett and Lexie became friends sophomore year of high school in Algebra 2 class (Brett somehow convinced Lexie to send all of her homework to him). Over the following summer, they went on their first date to the fair. Lexie convinced everyone they were "just friends" while carrying around a huge giraffe Brett won her, haha! From that date, the rest is history. They became high school sweethearts and started dating September 2016.

Brett and Lexie have accomplished so much together. Brett graduated from Bellarmine University and works in a career he loves. Lexie graduated from graduate school with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

Brett and Lexie love to spend time together and really balance each other out. Lexie loves Brett's ability to make anyone laugh and his positive attitude towards life. Brett loves Lexie's unwavering dedication to who and what she loves.

On January 20, 2024, Brett FINALLY proposed to Lexie at Millanova Winery in the snow. He then had all of their family and close friends ready to surprise them for an engagement party, which meant the world to Lexie. It was truly a perfect day!

Brett and Lexie can't wait to celebrate the beginning to their forever with all of their loved ones in one place next May!
