Brett and Kennedi first met in July 2014 when Kennedi was at a basketball tournament and her teammate (Cara Welder) was snapchatting Brett. Kennedi asked her for his snapchat because she thought he was cute.

This was the first picture they ever took together when they met in person for the first time after Bretts' hockey game in Warman.

After 4.5 years of friendship Brett asked Kennedi to be his girlfriend when he came home over February break. They hung-out everyday he was home. If you ask their parents it was a longtime coming. Brett then left for BC again and they talked on the phone daily.

Their long distance relationship began once again when Brett moved to Edmonton to complete his Architectural Technology Diploma and Bachelor of Technology Degree.

First Christmas together!

Brett and Kennedi took their first trip together to Kelowna to see Brett's friends from school. This was Kennedi's First time to BC.

They moved into their first apartment together in Prince Albert were Kennedi was completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. Due to COVID Brett was completing his diploma & degree online.

Brett and Kennedi both convocated in June 2023. Brett started working at Axis Engineering in Saskatoon and Kennedi started working on Obstetrics in Prince Albert. They then moved to Martensville in July 2023.

All it took was 10 years of being best friends and 5.5 as boyfriend and girlfriend for Brett to "Upgrade" his subscription to Fiancee. The RING is PERFECT! Brett proposed on Range Road 2230 (Our anniversary date) just outside of Fulda, SK. Number 13 is also his lucky number so he just knew it had to be on this day.

Engagement Photos were a blast and they love all of them. Wedding date is July 26, 2025.
