Q + A

Can I bring a guest?

Please check your invitation to see if it includes a plus one.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal/semi formal attire.

How do I get to the ceremony from the highway?

If you are coming from the 401 we recommend exiting at Wellington Road and taking Wellington into downtown. If you are coming from north of London we suggest taking Highway 4, which will turn into Richmond Street once you are in town.

Where can I park for the ceremony?

There are two small parking lots directly beside the church that are accessible via Clarence Street. Additionally, there is another parking lot belonging to the church that is located on the north side of the property. It is also accessible via Clarence Street. If both are full, metered street parking is available within the area.

*Please be aware that there is the potential for Victoria Park, which is just east of the church, to be hosting an event the weekend of our wedding. We encourage everyone to leave themselves some extra time when getting to the ceremony just in case you have to find parking outside of the church’s parking lots*

There’s a gap between the ceremony and the start of the cocktail celebration. What should I do during this time?

Andrew’s Aunt Anne is opening her home to guests after the ceremony. She is located close to the reception venue too!

Will the cocktail celebration be indoors or outdoors?

The cocktail celebration will be outdoors, weather permitting.

I would like to bring a gift but there is no registry. What should I do?

Your presence is all we want for our big day. If you wish to bless us with a gift, please consider contributing to our honeymoon and future life together.

Is there anything else I should know for the reception?

The bride will be participating in a menyasszonytánc, which is a Hungarian money dance. This will be different from a traditional money dance, but will still have some similarities. It will be announced that “the bride is for sale” and guests who would like to participate “pay” for the privilege to dance with bride for a moment. The final person to dance with the bride will be the groom.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by Sunday April 21st, 2024.
