Ashley and I first crossed paths on Tinder, as most normal millennial relationships start nowadays, sparking a connection that quickly grew deeper. After long days at work, we found ourselves on the phone every evening, sharing stories and laughter. Our first date was at Sisserous, and I was so nervous! Her kids playfully teased me, asking when I would bring their mom back, and I could only answer, "When the date is over."

Valentine's Day rolled around, and I decided to surprise her with an edible arrangement. Unfortunately, she left it on the front porch, and her kids devoured most of the chocolate-covered strawberries. Lesson learned—no more leaving treats unattended!

As time went on, we integrated and blended our families together. We've been inseparable ever since, sharing countless memories and building a beautiful life together.

Our last family vacation was particularly special. If anyone knows Ashley, she's like Miss Sherlock Holmes, so I tried my best to hide my deep dark secret that I was planning to pop the question. I gathered my courage and proposed to Ashley on the balcony of our vacation resort, under the stars. She didn't even say yes at first she just looked in shock and immediately started crying tears of joy. She eventually said yes, and I placed the ring on her finger. Afterwards we told the kids and their first question was, "How much did the ring cost?"
