Brett and Carolina both grew up in the same part of Houston. They attended different campuses of their church. They crossed paths multiple times at high school camps and student events across their time in student ministry but never met.

In 2022, Brett began his work at church and Carolina quickly followed. They grew their friendship for a year when Brett asked Carolina on a date. The couple quickly realized how fun it was to do life together and serve alongside one another at church. After 10 months of dating, Brett proposed to Carolina on the rooftop of The Post, a spot where they often would finish their dates with dessert. Brett and Carolina are looking forward to working for God’s Kingdom together.
