It all started December 2015 when Nick saw Breya at her probate. From the moment he saw her, there was something about her that caught his eye. It wasn’t just her smile or the way she spoke—it was the way she carried herself, with warmth and confidence that drew him in. A chance meeting at a college party on April 1st, they were formally introduced and this time Nick knew he had to shoot his shot.

Their first date was at the movies—a simple evening, but one that they’ll never forget. Breya was nervous, but Nick made her feel at ease with his kindness and humor. Her best friend and maid of honor Danielle took a picture of his license plate as a precaution, just in case! Needless to say, they didn’t have to worry—they quickly saw that Nick was someone special.

After their first date, they were inseparable. After just four months, they decided to continue their relationship long-distance when Nick moved back home to Southfield. While it wasn’t always easy, they persevered for five long years. In 2021, they moved in together, and after a few more years of growing and learning in their relationship, Nick finally popped the question on July 7th, 2023!

And now, as we prepare to embark on this next chapter of our journey, we are so grateful for every moment that led us here. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you and share the joy that’s in our hearts.
