Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30pm so we kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes early to assure you dont miss anything. This will also give you time to park and get out to our ceremony location for those of you that might need assistance getting out there!
Where should we park once we arrive?
You will find parking in the side yard of the first drive way before you get to the house. There will be markers showing you where to park and people to help if needed!
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best daytime/ casual attire. Jeans/ demin are perfect but please try to avoid shades of white. The ceremony will be held outside, so make sure to check the weather ahead of time incase you need a poncho!
WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY BE HELD?
Our ceremony will be in the back five arces on the bride's parents property. There is a gorgeous spot that is perfect for this occasion, it is special to us because of the memories it holds. Brey's grandpa, who is no longer with us, loved going out there to shoot with Brey and her family. We hope you understand that this is exactly where we want to get married. Please be aware that it is in a grass pasture that may be difficult for people to walk to. Arrive early to assure you can get out to your seat before the ceremony begins. We will have ushers available to help you get to your seats. If you are unable to make it to the ceremony due to concerns with making it out to the pasture, we understand. We would love for you to join us at 4pm for our reception in the barn!
WHAT IS SEATING LIKE FOR THE CEREMONY?
We will be using chairs for seating for our ceremony! If this will cause issues for you, please plan accordingly and bring a chair for yourself. We will set you and your chair up behind the our chairs so that you can still comfortably sit at our ceremony. Please let Brey know in advance if you plan on bringing your own chair!
ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Yes! However, if your kiddos struggle to sit still or have a hard time being quiet, they probably shouldn't attend the ceremony. We would love to have them join us in celebration at the reception though! For those of you that will be bringing children, please be sure to watch them closely. We have large animals and barbed wire fences on the property, as well as a pond, we don't want your kiddos getting hurt while they're celebrating with us!
Make sure you RSVP for everyone you intend to bring, including kids, so that we can make sure there is enough food to go around.
CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we are asking that all phones be put away and SILENCED. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer & videographer to be able to capture the best pictures, which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!
WHEN DO I NEED TO RSVP BY?
Please RSVP by October 1st, 2024 by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend!
