The year was 2021. A strange time to be alive. The world was just coming out of the covid lockdowns. People weren't really gathering yet. It was hard to meet up with old friends and even harder to meet new people. Breymin and Elise both turned to Facebook dating to find love. Elise was looking for a man that would love Jesus and explore the great outdoors with her. Breymin was looking for a fun loving girl who loves Jesus and family. On June 18th 2021 a match was made! He asked her out for a hike and she said gladly said yes. A few days before the hike he hurt his leg playing soccer and his sister gave birth to twins. He stuck to the date anyways which really impressed Elise.

After a few more dates they discovered that even though they come from opposite sides of the world, they both loved their family and Jesus, and wanted to raise children in the love of Christ one day.

Breymin and Elise have now enjoyed almost three wonderful years together filled with hiking, camping, persian barbeques, hard times, good times, biking, traveling, family get togethers, weddings, and funerals, but most importantly the ever present joy of the Lord.

On January 1st 2024 Breymin proposed on the beach at Lake Tahoe and now they are excitedly planning their wedding and dreaming of all their future will hold.
