On August 31, 2024, what started out as a first time couples photo session ended in a surprise proposal. At the time I had no idea what was coming, I seriously thought it was just a sweet gesture to make memories. After we took photos at a few different spots we ended the session on a back road where the leaves were starting to change. A literal Pinterest board dream photo. Our sweet photographer had Kurt step back behind me in the rain to create a photo of him looking at me from a distance. Little did I know that when it was time to face him he’d be down on one knee asking me to marry him.
Afterwards, we went out to eat for dinner where I was surprised once again with both of our sweet families. It truly was a magical day!
