Bri and Jay first met in Rochester, New York at The Daily Refresher, a small cocktail bar. A few months later Jay was accepted to the clinical psychology program at Teachers College and moved to New York City. During the next 10+ months, Bri and Jay would write long-form letters to one another sending them in the mail, each looking forward to the next letter that they would recieve, eager to hear the other's voice issue forth from their handwriting. Bri then graduated from her art therapy graduate program and moved to New York City.

A little more than a year went by, and while Jay and Bri were in Austin, TX Jay knelt on one knee to propose to Bri as the sun set and colors streaked across the sky. She said, "Yes!"

And now, each new dawn draws them ever closer to the fulfillment of their love, unified with one another for the glorification of God alone.
